Typical Course Content
B.E Electronics and Communication Engineering is a 4-year course and is divided into 8 semesters. In this course, emphasis is given to understanding fundamental concepts, developing your creative ability so you can handle the challenges of this field with ease, and improving analytical skills to enable you to solve even the most complex engineering problems. Along with this, you will be able to develop the components for analogue and digital systems, communication systems, control and signal processing systems using the knowledge you gained through the course and various design tools.

The department is accredited by National Board of Accreditation (NBA) and NAAC It is affiliated to VTU Belgaum, and recognised by AICTE New Delhi.
At AMC you will love working in the well-equipped laboratories that have all the state-of-the-art equipment you could dream of. The INNOTRONICS Lab is the best place for you to work on projects on your own time, you get all the software and hardware you need as well as faculty support to see your projects come to life. Students are provided with Raspberry Pi and Arduino Kits which has limitless applications. Key projects are sponsored by KSCST, VTU and IEEE. The department has really helped to mould each student in such a way that they excel in this field, they have won Best Student Awards every year, received the Best Student Chapter award and even the Best Faculty Chapter award, all from ISTE (Indian Society for Technology in Education).
